Walking Tour Meeting Point

Plaça d’Antonio Lopez, 2 by the Post Office Correos next to the central big pedestal is the meeting and starting point for our walking tour.

The square is on both ides of the street coming down from the hills. We meet across the street from the Post Office Correos next to the big beige pedestal without a statue on it. That is, on the left side of the street Via Laietana if you are facing the water.

It is really easy to find although if you ask locals for Plaça d’Antonio López they will probably actually not know which square it is. If you additionally also ask for the post office, Correos, or for the Head/Face of Barcelona, El Cap de Barcelona they will undoubtedly know it. In other words, you find the meeting point located next to the seafront Port Vell on the lower part of the Old Town Ciutat Vella, next to Via Laietana, the physical border between the Gothic Quarter Barri Gòtic and El Born.

Most importantly we have picked Plaça d’Antonio López as our start because it is very centrally located close to both two Metro lines (L4 & L3) and on the route of nonetheless than eight different lines (47, 59, 120, D20, V13, V15 & V17). You find them described below and pinned on maps with links to all of the stations to help plan your route accordingly.
